The decals are tiny, cut out what you want dunk in warm water until it starts to slide then apply onto wet matt varish. (i paint the item and paint a little matt varnish were i want the artwork to sit, slide off onto the varnish and move into positon (within 30 secs) then allow to dry. The matt varnish makes the bond permanent so the item can be easily handled.
